| 26 | 1899 Indian Head Cent PR64RD. Flamint golden shimmering fields, rainbow rims, great flashy eye appeal. Reverse a bit darker red but on a scale of RD to RB, it is 65% red and 35% RB. As nice as any PR65RD or even OR66RD, but for very minor flyspecks (not carbon) in obverse field only seen under magnification noted for accuracy. Worth $450. Similar raw pieces in the 1890s and early 1900s offered by L&C Coins (not as flashy or golden) for $450-$550. Low mintage, only 2,031 pieces. |
